WaggyPup™ Dog Cooling Pad

This is the second cooling pad I’ve bought. I learned with the first one they don’t store easily and it grew mold in between its folds due to the cold atmosphere it keeps. I’d say that’s my fault though so the mat will not be losing points from me- just a simple tip I think future buyers should know; it needs to be thoroughly sanitized before you store it! Even if it looks clean I promise some funky stuff will grow out of seemingly nothing lol. These pads are so wonderful my dog goes out of her way to lay on hers. With the first mat she did chew through the edges, however now that she grew out of the puppy phase she doesn’t chew at this new mat. It’s perfect for this little back dog and this desert heat! She’s a border collie mix and fits on the mat perfectly.

My dog Loves this cooling pad. The dog has numerous beds to choose and the dog always sleeps on the bed where the cooling pad is located. The pad lowers the temperature to about 5-10 degrees. Just enough.

I have a very old dog who is extremely sensitive to hot weather and will sit there and start panting even in moderate heat. I bought this for him and the first thing I noticed was that the package was a lot heavier than I expected. I opened it up and it was a perfect size for a 17 pound dog.I came in last night and it was hot and I found his younger "brother" trying to force his way on the mat with him so I have just bought another for him. It gets my highest recommendation.

My dog gets hot quickly and easily. We both love and use the pad, it has a nice feel to it, not a plastic feeling. Not a big deal but I did order a red pad but received a dark blue one.

My dog is normally about 35 lbs, stocky, and super stubborn. I’ve been going crazy trying to keep her comfortable because she gets much warmer now hopping around on three legs and especially when it’s 80 degrees out. She does whatever she wants and lies wherever she wants. Now that she has this pad, she always wants to lay on it when she’s getting warm. It would probably stay cleaner if she would use it while a sheet is over it. Nonetheless, I wiped it with Lysol wipes and it looks pretty clean considering she probably lays on it 12 hours a day for the past month or so. When the mat gets a little warmer I usually stick it in front of the AC for a minute or two and it’s back to her.
