My dog has no problems wearing this collar. It is easy to cut if you need it to be shorter. Actually it was recommended to me by my friend who works for a veterinarian.
This collar seems to do the trick. Had it for about a month now. I run with my pup on heavily wooded trails in FL quite often. Luckily, I always check him for ticks right afterwards. This time of year seems to bring in a ton of ticks and since I’ve had the collar I have still found them on him...but they are unable to burrow into his skin. Sometimes I may miss one sneaking around and not catch it until a few hours later, but it seems the collar is working well to prevent the ticks from locking on to my pup. Don’t typically write reviews, but wanted to share in hopes of others benefiting from it.
I took all precautions when de-fleeing my dog, washed with Flea shampoo, provided oral medication, and purchased this flea collar for good measure. Everything seemed to be doing its job, once my dog was groomed and clean, I went ahead and began removing all dead/dying fleas appearing on the top of his fur. Do the right steps with the right materials and youll get a happy flea-less pup! The collar does its job and for the price you cant go wrong! Recommend! Will be purchasing again soon!
After struggling all summer with fleas, even after two rounds of Advantage, I got these on a whim, willing to try anything. It has been about a month and I haven't seen a single flea since. I will definitely buy these again.
I just purchased these for my pets, needing 4 I try to find something easy on my pocket. I like that these come infused with good smelling oils and so far they're working fine. I'll update in a few months.
